EP: Spider - Energy Gone Wrong EP

Took some time this weekend to revisit some tunes provided by Spider. And if you don’t know Spider, then I urge you to get familiar with the Southern California quartet. The band released Energy Gone Wrong EP last August. For fans of Black Flag, Refused, Dead Kennedys, and The Bronx, just to name a few, this EP is full of raw hardcore punk bangers. Personally, my favorite jam is “Depression”. While the song reiterates that one could be in a state of depression, the melodic parts is what sucked me in. This whole EP requires your attention and whenever shows are a thing again, I’m making my way to a Spider show. I don’t know how I haven’t before to be honest.
