Song: Slothrust - Waiting (Demo)
Last week, rising alternative rock band, Slothrust, announced their forthcoming deluxe album, Parallel Timeline (Origins)! It’s set to be released on March 16th via Dangerbird Records.
Parallel Timeline (Origins) will feature demos and new versions of select tracks from the band’s latest record Parallel Timeline, which was released last September via Dangerbird Records. The album will also include commentary from bandleader, Leah Wellbaum and drummer, Will Gorin.
“I wrote and recorded the demo of ‘Waiting’ in my house in Glendale in early 2019,” says Leah. “I was trying to be really honest with myself at the time while remaining optimistic. I want this song to serve as a reminder to people that it is possible to break out of the cages we keep ourselves in. Even if the moments are fleeting. Healing is not linear. Look for signs in nature.”
