This past Wednesday, The Bruce Lee Band released their latest single, "I Hate This” off the band's upcoming full-length album, One Step Forward, Two Steps Back, out May 27th via Asian Man Records!

The Bruce Lee Band’s entire upcoming album feels like an extension of their 2021 EP, Division in the Heartland. “Leaders are still thriving on hate,” says the band, which includes Mike Park, Jeff Rosenstock, Dan Potthast, and Kevin Higuchi. “I Hate This!” is an upbeat ska jam laced with searing social criticism straight from the mind of Rosenstock. A classic Bruce Lee Band comedic-relief moment, the music video for the song expands on the theme of frustration as it tells the story of what must be Park’s worst day ever.
