Video: Indya Love - Good Morning

If you’re looking for a new artist whose influences include the likes of Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, and Lana Del Rey, you may want to pay attention to singer-songwriter, Indya Love.

"Music has always been ever-present in my life, however, I chose to keep my own music and poetry very private,” says Indya. “Around the age of thirteen, I started to pick up the guitar and try to figure out chords, strumming along to songs I loved. Pretty soon I started making up my own melodies and eventually putting lyrics to them.”

Indya recently released a music video for her single titled “Good Morning”, which is the first song she ever wrote!

“I was going through an incredibly difficult time mentally and I turned to music as an outlet and a way to express exactly how I felt,” she says. “I chose to make a simple monochrome video as I’ve always been drawn towards black and white photography as it seems to speak to me with raw emotion."

With “Good Morning” being her first single, will we get a full length from Indya Love in the future? Her voice from the start, reminded me of Mazzy Star’s Hope Sandoval and since I brought it up, can we get a “Fade Into You” cover in the future maybe?
