On Friday, October 7th, The Belasco hosted a stacked lineup featuring co-headliners and punk rock bands, The Bronx and The Chats. Supporting them were post-hardcore band, Drug Church and hardcore punk band, Scowl!
Scowl and Drug Church both brought their energy and got the crowd hyped up for what was to come from The Bronx and The Chats. With Drug Church being the second act, The Chats were the third band to take the stage.
The Chats delivered fans the jams they wanted to hear including fan favorites such as “6L GTR”, “Bus Money”, and “Smoko”! Their set only got the crowd energized for what was to come from The Bronx.
The Bronx took the stage and right away with the first song being “White Shadow”, the fans started singing and moshing, which pretty much sums the entire set. Fan favorites that the band played were “Heart Attack American”, “Notice of Eviction”, “Knifeman”, and “Around The Horn”!
With The Bronx putting out a new single last month titled “Blowtorch” and The Chats releasing a new album titled Get Fucked, can we expect more tours from the bands in the near future? Let’s hope so! But first, let’s wait until they finish their current run! For tour dates and tickets, you can head over to their websites: thebronxxx.com and thechatslovebeer.com.
