On Friday, February 18th, The Regent in Downtown L.A. hosted a show full of legends! Headlining the SOLD OUT show was post hardcore New Jersey band, Thursday, with direct support from Cursive, The Appleseed Cast, and Nate Bergman.
Thursday frontman, Geoff Rickly, performed with a broken foot and it was honestly one of the best shows. At one point during their set, the band covered Texas Is The Reason since Norman Brannon was filling in for Thursday, but additionally, TITR bass player, Scott Winegard, was at the show! Just picture a bunch of people in their 30s and 40s opening up the pit during that cover. It was a great night all around and all the bands were incredible. Thanks to Cursive, I really want to play the cello now!
With the second month of the year wrapping up, one can only hope and expect more music and/or shows from all of these acts, so stay tuned!
