Episode 43 - AJ Peacox (Glow & The Dark/Sundressed/Weatherbox)

The guest for episode 43 of The Keep It Posi Podcast is AJ Peacox. AJ and I go all the way back to 2012. AJ has played in several bands, which include, but are not limited to Sundressed, Weatherbox, Crasher, and Tiny Stills, just to name a few. His latest project is Glow & The Dark. This past Friday, Glow & The Dark released the Glow & The Dark EP and it is awesome. In this conversation, AJ and I talked about the music he’s been working on, his introduction to punk and emo, his marching band days during high school and college, that first concert experience, mental health, and so much more. This week, The Posi Spotlight is focused on Nai Conservation. Nai Conservation is a group of young professionals from diverse backgrounds working on research and education projects to conserve tapir populations and their habitat in Costa Rica. Tapirs are close relatives to rhinos and are similar in shape to pigs with a short nose trunk. Utilizing the expertise of each of its members, Nai Conservation works on research and conservation programs to generate scientific information, empower local communities, educate, and create public awareness around the tapir to ensure its long term survival.
