Episode 82 - Chris Broach (Braid/The Firebird Band/L’Spaerow/SNST)

The guest for episode 82 of The Keep It Posi Podcast is Chris Broach and you may know him as guitarist and singer for indie/emo band, Braid. His other bands include The Firebird Band, L’Spaerow, and most recently, SNST. In early 2020, SNST released an album titled It’s Hard To Be Loved By You. In 2020, Chris also got the news that he had been diagnosed with cancer. In this episode, we talked about his battle, Gared of Planes Mistaken For Stars (who was also diagnosed at the same time), the SNST album, the music industry, and more. I do have to warn you that there are some things discussed that could be heavy for some listeners as he talked about his battle. It was an honor to speak with Chris about everything we talked about.

In addition to putting out this episode, Keep It Posi is excited to share a previously unreleased SNST video for “What’s Evil About”!

“This is a previously unreleased SNST artifact that was never properly finished,” says Chris. “However, we thought it would be fun to put it out into the universe anyway as it captured a place, time, and pursuit of an idea.”
