Album: VAR - The Never-Ending Year

I was recently introduced to Icelandic emotional post-rockers, VAR. They released their latest album, The Never-Ending Year via Spartan Records, almost a month ago and it’s been a favorite that’s been in heavy rotation.

If you’re looking for music that makes ya wanna bop, but is also not going to drive your roommates crazy when it’s played loud, this might be the band to help you out with that. When you throw Sigur Ros, Caspian, and Alive In Wild Paint (formerly known as Goodbye Tomorrow) into a blender, the result will be VAR. Mmmm. Maybe it’s a weird or interesting mix of ingredients to throw together, but this is one tasty smoothie!
