Episode 40 - Michael Paul Escanuelas (Estoy Listo/Nobody But You)

The guest for episode 40 of The Keep It Posi Podcast is Michael Paul Escanuelas. I’ve known Michael for a few years now and during this time, I’ve seen him perform with most of his bands. He currently has two musical projects: Estoy Listo, an electric indie project he started during quarantine and Nobody But You, an indie rock project he started with friends a few years ago. In this conversation, Michael and I talked about his musical journey as a performer, Drive-Thru Records, The Academy Is…, PureVolume, Limp Bizkit, and so much more.

This week, The Posi Spotlight is focused on Downtown Dog Rescue, an all volunteer run nonprofit organization that believes in second chances for both dogs and people. Downtown Dog Rescue rescues dogs and provides services for low income pet owners in underserved communities in L.A. County. Throughout its existence, Downtown Dog Rescue has helped pay for spay/neuter surgeries, has found fosters or forever homes for thousands of dogs, and has provided meals for not just animals, but also their humans.
